Hello!
We are Ashleigh and Danae
And we are so happy you are here.
We have been friends forever and have learned what is precious in life - especially now that we are mums with 5 kids between us! We bought Wean Meister together to help create the flexible and fulfilling lives we all dream of - and we have always adored the products!
We met in kindergarten and became firm friends, but were devastated when our parents moved and we were no longer at the same school. Fast forward to high school though, and by chance we ended up in the same class and discovered our previous connection - and the rest is history!
Making Weaning Easier
Together we’ve experienced so many of our own milestones - high school, first loves, first heartbreaks, an epic Euro backpacking adventure, girls weekends, corporate life, marriage and babies - and now the world of small business.
We know you will love Wean Meister just as much as we do. Early parenthood is magical - but can also be confusing, messy and downright hard. (Been there.) That’s where we come in - making it easier for you and your baby navigate weaning together!

The History of Wean Meister
Founded in 2010 after concerns about BPA in plastics, Wean Meister became Australia's first brand to develop soft silicone baby feeding products. Wean Meister’s first product was the Freezer Pods - the introduction of the Adora Bowls with a patented suction lid in 2012 enhanced the range.
Wean Meister then further expanded the range with innovative items like Scoopsy bowls and Easy Rinse Bibs - Wean Meister is still proud to be the first people to transform silicone bibs from floppy to functional and comfortable by creating the body with a curved 3D shape! By 2019, Wean Meister refined its offerings to include Chewy Spoons and Mini Adorabowls, solidifying its reputation for quality and functionality.
2024 has seen a shift in ownership from Sarah, yoga and moon-loving mum of 4, to Ashleigh and Danae, who you met above. After almost 15 years supporting families, we can’t wait to see what Wean Meister does next!
