Wean Meister is a socially conscious business and it is our great pleasure to give 5% of our profits to support the fantastic work of the Dandelion Support Network.
Supporting Families in Need
Dandelion Support Network is a grassroots not-for-profit that supports children and families in need.
The team accept, sort and safety check children’s clothes and nursery items for families in need. They work with hospitals and support agencies to provide these items to the families. They receive no government funding for the services they provide and rely on the generosity of the community and supporters to continue their work.
On average, it costs $240 to provide a disadvantaged family with all the essential items they need for their child. If the family had to buy these items new, it would cost more than $900. These items are essential for the safety, well-being and development of the children Dandelion help.
Since December 2011, they have helped over 14,000 families and we now work with more than 200 hospitals and community service agencies to create positive change in our community. The team are based in the Sutherland Shire, just south of Sydney. Click here to support the work of the Dandelion Support Network.
