Shortly after my first daughter was born and at a time when BPA in plastics was just beginning to scare parents about their product choices, I recognised the perfect synergy between silicone and weaning young babies.

We became the first Australian brand to develop soft and safe silicone baby feeding ware.

We thrived through word of mouth because high quality was always a driving factor. I couldn’t sleep at night unless I was using the highest standards because your baby’s wellbeing is paramount!

We were so very excited to be given exclusive rights to this patented product with its genius suction lid. Baby feeding and storing baby food just got a whole lot easier with these suction lids around.

This created enormous flexibility in my family and we moved the business over to Ireland for a year to have some long holidays and spend much needed time with my partners big Irish family.

Out of this rest bite came renewed enthusiasm and loadsa new products – scoopsy bowls and plates, with their super functional curved rim, for keeping more food on the spoon – and also the cute little Sippy Skillz cups, that are actually hard to spill due to the wide base.

Back to Australia

I was learning the fine art of work life balance.

After my stint in Ireland, I had become increasingly into Yoga – but the universe had other plans for me. I had to put my Yoga teacher training on hold because I was having TWINS!!

After 8 year in business (and now with newborn twinnies) I decided to evolve our 4th website to Shopify.

Seemed to be a bit of a game changer actually.

I was very much in love with my new babies and my new improved business.

We had been loosely working on spoons for years. Don’t ya just find it’s sometimes the simplest of things that take the most time!

We were eventually content with our wonderful chewy spoons – they were worth the wait and completed our range nicely, along with the Mini Adorabowls.

BUT I was the truest example of a duck swimming on the water… calm on the top, little legs frantically swimming underneath.

I couldn’t have been any busier with twin toddlers (and the business, and the rest of the family and the pets), so to stay sane I took on some more!

Back to Yoga teacher training – making room, for more space!

This ended up being a 2-year process – the second covid phase and beyond... as I had to take my time with it.

Through this process I found myself connecting deeper and deeper with astrology and I made the decision to shift wean meister into the baby astrology space. More about that story here.

I diligently designed and built reports and bibs around every single sun, moon and rising sign – for babies – that is 36 unique designs.

I am IMMENSLEY proud to be able to offer parents personalised astrology information, FOR FREE.

I couldn’t be more in love with our 1 line zodiac baby art work and I’m just bursting to share it all with the world.

It didn’t seem right to keep the STARDUST range to ourselves in Australia.

We knew our astrology loving friends in the U.S. would appreciate them so much, plus the thousands that would benefit from the free reports.

The old English phrase springs to mind:

– In for a penny, in for a pound…

- Might as well go large or go home!

(us Brits love a good saying… did I mention I’m from the UK?)

While the rest of the world is bracing for recession, wean meister is proudly marching forward – because we know that the world will be just that little bit better off with our positive ripple effects and our astrological parenting info.

We will continue to provide parents with outstanding visual information, to better understand their own baby’s, and hopefully whet their appetite to learn more about their families astrology and natal charts.

AND we have plenty of innovative product designs in the pipeline – inspired by nature and designed to make parents lives easier every. single. day.

ALSO, I am planning on getting myself to a position where I can invest more of myself into yoga – and I will support my community with motherhood burn out
– this is actually a global space I can feel myself leaning into.

I will keep ploughing into my astrology learning on a daily basis. There is a real need for people to understand so much more than their BIG 3 signs.

I am finding Saturn and the North Node so bloody relevant to my own life and also my families. I’d love to support parents to uncover more truths – to help their families thrive! Watch this space…
